It is easy to make sports fun for children, but one of the more challenging tasks is to make education fun as well. One of the things we have learned is that there are not a lot of learning games available in this area in Brazil. In fact, they are almost non-existent in an underprivileged neighborhood. To meet this need, we began a Games Library that has now been open to the community for over a year, and has served more than 50 children. In our games library, we have over 100 games available that bring autodidactic learning. These games make learning fun and intuitive, helping them to develop their problem solving skills in ways they have not previously been challenged.
All the prevention projects on this site have been implemented by us at the YWAM Recife base. As soon as we move to the new site, "With Open Arms" will start and implement the projects in the new community.
